I have been moving my environment to Windows 2012 R2 from Windows 2003 network recently. One of server roles I was moving was domain controllers. I had two of them, both running Windows 2003 SP2. After a fresh installation of Windows 2012 and adding 2 new VMs to domain I installed Adtive Directory Domain Services and promoted them to be domain controllers. About author

I am a big fan of IT technologies. I work for big FMCG company where I designed a virtual environment based on Vmware ESXi, Brocade Fibre Chanel Switches and EMC VNX series storage array. This was tailor made to the clients company needs. Successfully migrated physical and hyper-v based Windows Server 2003 environment to Windows Server 2012 along with Linux OS machines. Installation, deployment and migration process took a highly efficient time of 2 weeks for 30 machines. Now I work on efficient backup system that will be able to perform a complete disaster recovery within few hours.

I hold Microsoft Windows Server certification (you can check that on  https://mcp.microsoft.com/Anonymous//Transcript/Validate Transcript ID:1099148, Access Code:12345przemek123 ) Vmware VCP 5.1 certification.
